Deepika Sethia is the Founder and Editor of अन्वय ANVAYA. The magazine took form from a belief that settled in her long before it was named—that what carries beauty, depth, or truth cannot be brought forth in haste. This understanding grew gradually through her engagement with philosophy, where time is not something to be overcome, but something that reveals. For her, study became a means of learning how to wait with ideas, allowing thoughts to mature rather than seeking immediate resolution.
She writes poetry alongside her academic work, moving between precision and openness, structure and listening. Philosophy continues to shape her inward life—not as a system to be mastered, but as a practice of attention. अन्वय ANVAYA emerges from this sensibility. It is edited with care rather than assertion, guided by the belief that meaning appears most clearly when space is preserved for silence, return, and slow alignment.
